Domestic flights in Afghanistan have restarted after being suspended since the Taliban took over the country. Ariana Afghan Airlines restarted service this weekend between Kabul and three cities: Herat in the west, Mazar I Sharif in the north, and Kandahar in the south. A team of Qatari and Turkish technicians has arrived in Kabul to help restore operations at the airport, which the UN says is essential to providing humanitarian assistance to the country.
